Starz’s $2.99 Streaming Deal Lets You Save While You Binge ‘Outlander,’ ‘John Wick’ ‘Saw’ and More
Cord cutters can save 70 percent off their first three months when they sign up for a new subscription or add the channel to their existing live TV streaming service.

Here’s another one of the best streaming deals for cord-cutters. For a limited time, Starz is offering 70 percent off the monthly subscription price to new subscribers, making now a great time to catch up on popular shows and film franchises including Outlander, John Wick, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Becoming Elizabeth, P-Valley and more.
Regularly $9.99 per month, the Starz deal brings the price down to $2.99 per month for the first three months (a total savings of $21 in your first quarter of membership, the equivalent of about two months free). Annual billing is also available for $75 per year, which essentially gives you Starz for two months free.
Owned by Lionsgate, Starz offers more than a dozen live channels and is home to the studio’s film and TV series, such as Home Alone, Independence Day, Waterworld, A Southern Haunting, Alien vs. Predator, the Saw franchise and much more comedy, horror, drama, action, sci-fi and kids content.
A subscription to Starz also includes its lineup of more than 13 live channels, access to original TV series such as Courteney Cox’s Shining Vale, Julia Roberts’ Gaslit, the Power Book franchise, Party Down, Minx, The Serpent Queen and other original and exclusive TV series.
You can also save on Starz when you add it to select cable TV subscriptions or live TV streaming services, including Amazon’s Prime Video ($9-$15/mo.), DirecTV ($75/mo. and up), Hulu ($7.99/mo. and up), Philo ($25/mo. and up) and Sling ($40/mo and up). Through Oct. 2, get Starz for $2.99 per month for your first three months via Prime Video and Hulu.
DirecTV Stream customers save 50 percent off Starz during their first three months. After that, the add-on is $11/mo. in addition to the monthly DirecTV Stream subscription fee of $65/mo. and up. Sling is offering Starz free for one month when you bundle the channel with Blue or Orange plans (reg. $40-$45/mo.), which are also discounted to 50 percent off for new subscribers. Other cable and streaming TV providers that offer Starz include FuboTV and Verizon, but they currently aren’t offering any discounts on the channel.
Starz in 2022 announced a development program for underrepresented writers with NALIP and NFMLA as part of its ongoing #TakeTheLead initiative to support inclusion behind the scenes and onscreen. The network is owned by Lionsgate, which looks to be separating its studio operations from its pay TV and streaming businesses.
